The idea behind theses packagings
I've designed this "limited edition" packaging because I'm a huge pasta fan, and I've always thought that Barilla could create much more beautiful packaging, given their rich cultural and culinary heritage. So I decided to set about creating the packaging for farfalle and pene rigate.
What about the creative process ?
My approach for this project was to choose two destinations in Italy : Tuscany and Venice. After, I had to find a representative pic of the place and then create an illustration linked to this photo. I then assembled these illustrations with all the usual information on pasta packagings : name, composition, average nutritional values, right down to the vector drawing of the pasta !
