What about the book's concept and subject ?
Lyon's gastronomy, as you may know, has remained rather old-fashioned. So, my studio, which is proud of its terroir, decided to select 15 specialties from Lyon (praline, Saint-Marcellin, etc.), to go and meet 15 producers of these specialties, and finally to impose on 15 chefs a specialty that they had to use in a street food recipe. So, we find recipes such as hot dog made with quenelles, croque monsieur with Saint-Marcellin or gua bao with sausage from lyon.



A real challenge
In about a month and a half (interrupted by my classes weeks), I produced the entire Art Direction of the book : design of the front cover, layout, creation of the table of contents, right down to the back cover. It was my first real publishing project, and I was almost totally autonomous. The challenge of this book was to talk about street food, while maintaining a premium image, because we interviewed some of Lyon's top chefs, and I had some quality content to lay out.
